Where the results come from
Every number on this site starts with a 4D operator. We do not hold the draws. We read what is published, from two independent places, and say clearly which source each page relies on.
The confirmation rule
A result is verified when both results publishers show it number for number. Each is read separately, so one confirms the other.
If the two readings differ, publication is held back. The draw page says the result is being checked and shows no number that could be wrong, until a person has compared them. A disagreement is never averaged, guessed or settled by taking whichever source arrived first.
A result only one publisher carries is shown with the "being confirmed" mark. The mark is not decoration: it means one source has published the whole draw, but nobody has confirmed it yet.
A result from one source that the other does not contradict for 24 hours is treated as settled.
The sources
| Source | Role | Usually available |
|---|---|---|
| check4d.orgAn independent results publisher that carries every operator: Magnum, Da Ma Cai, Sports Toto, Singapore Pools, Sabah 88, Sandakan and Special CashSweep. It is not run by any operator. | Main source | While each draw is read out, and complete shortly after |
| 4dmoon.comA second independent results publisher carrying the same operators. It is read separately from check4d.org, so each confirms the other. It is not run by any operator. | Main source | While each draw is read out, and complete shortly after |
| The operators' official resultsEach operator's own website is the reference any claim is settled against. Those sites block automated readers or visitors from outside Malaysia, so this site does not read them, and it does not replace them. | Official | When the operator updates them |
| Reports from readersA reader can tell us about a mistake. No report changes a number on its own: it is first compared with the operator's official results. | Cross-check | When they arrive |
| The Lotto4ds corrections logEvery change to a published result is recorded with the date and the reason, and it is the check on every other source. | Cross-check | Whenever a result changes |
Live draws
A Malaysian 4D result is read out prize by prize over about 40 minutes, Consolation prizes first, then Special, then 3rd, 2nd and 1st. The publishers post each prize as it is announced, and the board here fills in as they do. A number read this way is still a first reading, and the second source must agree before the "being confirmed" mark goes.
If a game is not drawn on a day, that draw is marked "no draw" instead of staying empty for ever.
We read our sources politely: few requests, with a clear identity and a contact address.
None of this makes this site official. Only the operator of each game publishes the official result. Before you claim a prize, compare your ticket with the operator's official channels.
